The NERC Training Resources Working Group has identified a set of core skills and knowledge that are common to most system operators. Even though operator tasks are likely to be done somewhat differently at each company, there are some core skills and knowledge in common by type of operator. These skills and knowledge can be used with a training needs assessment to identify training objectives for operator training. (116 KB pdf)
