SPP's Regulatory Policy department is responsible for the independent development, implementation, and monitoring of policies and procedures related to the administration and modification of SPP's Open Access Transmission Tariff (OATT) and related contracts and service agreements. The department manages regulatory matters at the federal and state level, coordinates filings and tariff language with SPP's organizational groups, and provides information/education to stakeholders and regulatory authorities.

In 2010 the Regulatory Policy group implemented a new system to meet a FERC requirement that all jurisdictional entities file their tariffs and related documents in an electronic system. You can read and search the SPP Tariff, related filings, service/membership agreements, and bylaws, on our Interactive Tariff page.
