WEIS Resource Adequacy Task Force
PURPOSE
The WEIS Resource Adequacy Task Force(WRATF) is responsible for evaluating and reporting on the viability of two alternatives of Resource Adequacy constructs: a) the Western Resource Adequacy Program (WRAP) and b) the existing SPP construct in the east RTO footprint. The evaluation will provide the basis for establishing a Resource Adequacy standard for the Western Energy Imbalance Service (WEIS) footprint.
The WRATF reports to the Western Markets Executive Committee (WMEC).
