Climate

Little Rock has a humid subtropical climate, usually humid summers, but subject to drought, primarily in late summer. Summers are usually hot, occasionally extremely hot; winters are short and cool but with marked temperature variations, as the area is subject to alternating incursions of warm, moist air from the Gulf of Mexico and cold, dry air from Canada. The Little Rock area has nearly 50 inches of precipitation per year, on average. Little Rock experiences a prolonged spring wet season, with heavy rainfall a distinct possibility from March to May, and a secondary wet season peaking in November and December.

Transportation

SPP is 17 miles from the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport. Taxi service is available outside of Exit H on the west side of bag claim, closest to carousel 1. For ride sharing and shuttle pickup, use Exit D near carousel 3. Please use the crosswalk to reach the shuttle pickup area that is located at the commercial curb. Uber and Yellow Cab (501-537-4968) are also available. Many of our hotel partners also offer free shuttle service to and from the airport, along with area shuttle service within a certain range of the hotel.

From the Little Rock Airport to SPP Corporate Center

Exit the airport and take I-440 West.
Take I-30 East (Exit 138A, toward Little Rock/Downtown).
Take I-630 West (Exit 139B).
Continue through light onto Financial Centre Pkwy/Chenal Pkwy.
After 3.6 miles, turn left onto Kirk Rd, just after Kroger Marketplace.
Continue through the roundabout, follow Worthen Dr sign.
Turn left into Corporate Center's 2nd gate (201 Worthen Dr).
Follow Visitor Parking signs onto parking deck on your left.

From I-30 to SPP Corporate Center

Take Exit 129 toward Fort Smith.
Merge onto I-430 N (Exit 129).
Take Shackleford Rd (Exit 5) toward Kanis Rd.
Turn left onto S Shackleford Rd for about 1 mile.
Turn left onto Financial Center Pkwy/Chenal Pkwy.
After 3.6 miles, turn left onto Kirk Rd, just after Kroger Marketplace.
Continue through roundabout and follow Worthen Dr sign.
Turn left into Corporate Center's 2nd gate (201 Worthen Dr).
Follow Visitor Parking signs onto parking deck on your left.

From I-40 to SPP Corporate Center

Take I-430 S (Exit 147).
Merge onto I-430 S via Exit 147.
Follow I-430 S to Financial Pkwy/Chenal Pkwy (Exit 6).
Take 2nd right onto Financial Centre Pkwy.
After 3.6 miles, turn left onto Kirk Rd, just after Kroger Marketplace.
Continue through roundabout and follow Worthen Dr. sign.
Turn left into Corporate Center's second gate (201 Worthen Dr.).
Follow Visitor Parking signs onto parking deck on your left.

NOTE: Construction on I-630 can lead to traffic congestion or unexpected lane/exit closures.

From the Little Rock Airport to West Little Rock Hotels

Exit the airport and take I-440 West.
Exit I-30 East (toward Little Rock/Downtown).
Exit I-630 West.
For the Courtyard Marriott, Crowne Plaza, Embassy Suites, Hampton Inn and Holiday Inn, continue west on I-630.
I-630 will turn into Chenal Parkway.
For the Crowne Plaza, turn right on Shackleford. The Crowne Plaza is on the corner of Shackleford and Markham.
For the Hampton Inn, turn left on Shackleford. The hotel will be on the left.
For the Courtyard Marriott, Embassy Suites and Holiday Inn, continue west on Chenal. The Courtyard and Holiday Inn will be on your right; the Embassy Suites is on the left.

From the Little Rock Airport to Downtown Hotels

Exit the airport and take I-440 West.
Exit I-30 East (toward Little Rock/Downtown).
Exit 141A (toward Cantrell Road/Markham Street).
The road will turn into East 2nd Street.
Turn right on Scott Street.
Take left onto East Markham.
You will see the Little Rock Marriott first on your right, and the Doubletree is past that on your right.
