Markets Training
Markets training courses offered by the SPP Stakeholder Training department are designed to provide an in-depth understanding of SPP’s markets, including the Integrated Marketplace and Western Energy Imbalance Service (WEIS) market, the role of an RTO and related procedures and requirements. These trainings cover a number of topics including basic market operations, market settlements, congestion hedging, reliability unit commitment (RUC) and virtual transactions.
