Grid Transformation Advisory Group
The Grid Transformation Advisory Group (GTAG) was formerly known as the Future Grid Strategy Advisory Group (FGSAG). The GTAG identifies and explores innovative opportunities to enhance SPP’s grid operations and planning while overseeing periodic assessments of the future state of the SPP grid. The GTAG explores and increases organizational awareness of emerging technologies and strategies that can shape the future grid and positively impact the industry. The GTAG advises the Strategic Planning Committee (SPC) on future-grid capabilities, innovations, and strategies essential for maintaining reliable and affordable operations, and provides recommendations as directed by the SPC.
